July 1st, 2010:
Another year of Bible quizzing is finished and another year has already begun! This week I began memorizing Hebrews while we work on finalizing pronoun definitions. My goal is to have the material ready for distribution by the end of July. A draft copy of the Senior Material is online for those that want to get started right away. (Of course, you can always use a NKJV Bible as well.)
Congratulations!
This is a good opportunity to congratulate all of the teams that were represented at the National convention at Baptist Bible College. In particular, I would like to congratulate East Gate Bible Church, IN and Byron Center Bible Church, MI. This was the first time for both churches to compete at the National level and they did very well. Byron Center brought three novice teams and one senior team - a significant accomplishment for a first year team.
Congratulations also to our National Champions:
- Alderwood Community Church won the novice division.
- Crossroads Community Church won the Senior division.
Alderwood also finished 2nd in the Novice division.
This was Crossroads second time competing at Nationals and the first time with a senior team! It was also the first time a team from WI won the National Championship.

As always, I would like to thank those people whose hard work makes IFCA Bible quizzing possible. Both Sid Miller and Terry Freeburg spend countless hours writing and screening questions. Without their hard work, most teams would struggle to generate their own practice quizzes. Also, Brad Whitla provides very important technical help to generate the material we use each year.
